Black period, 1968 – 1970.

Messa returns to Albaida, to the family textile business, which would distance him from Barcelona in all cultural, artistic and familiar aspects. Clashes with the incomprehension of his village towards his art. The businesses do not let him concentrate on his work and this submerges him in continua! depressions. He works and studies in the search for new discoveries. He sends art works only to the Miró and “Salones de Mayo y Otoño”.
